Hotlanta

Just spent a wonderful extended long weekend in Atlanta - to be known from this point on as Hotlanta. OMFG the men. So hot. So big and beefy. So many hot men. Is it something they put in the water? Or is it from the grits? Whatever it is, Hotlanta is the eye candy capital of the world. Excuse my while I wipe the drool off my chin....

Loved the food. Found some amazing restaurants, and also had the opportunity to have some authentic, down home, southern cooking. Who knew that sweet potatoes and marshmallows went so well together? Try as I may, I still can't develop a taste for grits though.

Hotlanta is also the Coca Cola Capital of the Universe. Everything there is Coke. As such we had to check out the World of Coke. Had to take some photos and a video too.

Haven't had the time to throw together a new vlog yet.  But this, this is like when you discovered that you liked chocolate and you liked peanut butter and then realized that they could come together and be yet another satisfying entity all its own.

GuiTard Hero

I have a guilty pleasure. But it's not my fault. I bought a Guitar Hero guitar and game as backup birthday presents for my nieces. You see, as a family we were going to get them Rock Band, but were having a difficult time finding the PS2 version. So I got those just in case.

I ended up finding Rock Band the day before and should have returned Guitar Hero. However curiosity got the best of me. I had to try it. The guitar had been staring at me for a week. So I gave in.



In case any of you were wondering, Rock Band is a hell of a lot of fun. It comes with a guitar, microphone and drum kit - you can also use your GH guitar as a bass. I got booed off while singing a Nirvana song. Obviously I need to stick to guitars.

Take Two

Wow. Didn't think that I would drop off the blogosphere like that, but apparently I needed a break. Running your own business is a lot of work. I wish someone would have told me beforehand. But things are going very well and it was a very, very good decision. Happy I am.
