Construction Time Again

Been unbelievably busy these past few days. Barely any time to read, let alone contribute to blogdom.

The contractor started on Monday. He and his team managed to rip up the entire main floor, rip down the basement ceiling and partitions, remove the old washer and dryer and empty the entire basement, take out a wall, get rid of all the garbage and start laying down the new subfloor - all in one day! Then they swept and tidied everything up before leaving. Today they're breaking up the concrete basement floor and hauling it away. This place will be done in no time. I'm already impressed with his work and all he's done is tear things down.
